This nice man came and put a fence around the pond on Saturday. It’s jolly nice. The boss says that it’s to stop me falling in. I think that’s a bit of a cheek. I wouldn’t be so stupid. I’m not a sheep! Helgi

Oh dear. Three sheep have gone and died in the pond. I thought that ice skating was a bit silly, but you can’t tell them. They had to find out for themselves. The boss’ wife got the job of pulling them out. And her with her bad back too. They were jolly wet and heavy. [...]
